I am trying to decide what year mustang I should get. I am planning on boosting it and I heard that an 86 came with forged internals. My question is what year would you get and why? Thanks Guys

89-92=forged rods and pistons but not crank+ MAF and not speed density

I know I will prob. need 42lb injectors but how much horsepower will the stock injectors hold?

+1 i forgot about the no tilt wheel i love having that feature... although u could get an 87 or 88 and wire in the mass air its not that bad...

I vote for 89 also! My choice was made for MAF, no airbag- reasons.
But t-top was still available in 87, and the MAF conversion aint that hard. I like t-tops.
