Went to the annual Mustang show at a local shop that some of you have heard of. Pro Dyno in Ft Mill, SC.

Had it dyno'd while I was there.

Magic numbers with just the Airaid, Lethal O/R H, and AED tune?

424hp and 418 ft/lb torque.

Wow AWESOME #'s and surprisingly awesome torque.

Was it dyno'd in 5th gear? (1:1)
Thanks man. I was shooting for ~400 so I'm very happy. lol

With just Airaid, Lethal O/R H, Reso deletes, and AED tune I've gained 47hp and 65 ft/lb torque over stock. Stock baseline done 3 years ago was 377 hp 353 ft/lb torque.

Yes the pulls were made in 5th.

With all three pulls the numbers were very consistent, within ~2 hp and ~3 ft/lb torque each pull.

A buddy of mine that works at Pro Dyno told the tuner that it was one of Shaun's tunes. His reply? "I'm not surprised, it looks spot on".

I still think you got a factory freak man. Not saying anything bad about the tune, but dayum those are some great numbers even with a superb tune.
I won't say I disagree. Stock, mine dyno'ed higher than the vast majority that I see, even after SAE correction.

Even now, at 79k miles I haven't lost any power. Motor hasn't "loosened" up any. Do the 2.6% SAE correction on that number and it's still 413 hp.

Did a datalog and sent it to Shaun on Tuesday just to make sure everything was spot on for today. Knock sensors read -3.9 for quite a while on the logs at WOT. I know I'm running great fuel.

I'm happy with the numbers. Gonna make it back out to the strip one last time this month and see if I can't pull off an 11.8.

Got the last of the suspension stuff finished up before powdercoating and then I can assemble it all when I get it back.

Some people get stuff done, others have had the last 9 months and still can't make a 10 second pass, instead they try to brag about still running the same times their car did 2 years ago with less parts and more weight.

Thanks guys. Guess I'll be satisfied with it for now. Gonna need a new clutch soon (79k miles and about 40 1/4 passes on the stocker..I'm pushing my luck haha), it's time for new drag radials or slicks and also new rear daily tires. Everything hits all at once. :/

Boost it!
Haha if only I could afford it.

Damn. I need to get my car on a dyno and see what's up, mine should make similar numbers.

QT gas man! I need to log mine this weekend and see what my fuel quality looks like.

Only other power mods in looking to do are CJ intake setup and longtubes, should be good for 450whp, which is plenty for a corner carver.

You're running a Lund tune though aren't you? Similar numbers? :whackylol: Just picking.

Exactly. I run QT 93 octane 99% of the time. Great fuel and seems to be always fresh. I keep meaning to take a jar and get a sample to see if and how much ethanol is in it.

There was a 13/14 with a CJ manifold there yesterday. IIRC correctly he actually only made 430hp and 390 ft/lb torque. That torque loss is a hit. I won't ever be running anything but the factory manifold. That and I don't have any money to run anything but the factory manifold. Haha. I want a blower eventually.

Hopefully by the end of next year I'll be running a set of LT's.

Lol, i guess youre right, ill probably make more since i have a lund tune :p :uMad

Id expect to put down very similar numbers, every car is different tho. The only difference between our cars is my exhaust setup is probably slightly less restricted with the straight through Comps compared to your Flows, but obviously your car is doing fine with them lol. Our intake is the same tho, and we both have reputable tuners- you do have an Aluminum driveshaft, which im sure is good for a few ponies, i plan on adding that eventually.

I actually plan to log this weekend and see if there is any more safe timing left to be had, ill ask lund what he thinks. I need to spot check my fuel for quality anyway.

The CJ thing is something i havent researched a whole lot, sort of one of those mods that would come after everything else. I was under the impression that torque wasnt effected much, alas, if it is, it wont be going on my car.

LTs tho, springtime hopefully, i read that they are pretty magic on our engines. With LTs, i expect my car to have plenty of power for what im doing with the car. Beyond that its all suspension and lightweight goodies.

Vehicle prices in general are out of hand. I bought my then brand new 2006 Ram 2500 Quad cab 4x4 diesel Lone Star edition for $32,400 +tt&l in Dec 2006. 4x4 diesel prices don't start with "3s" anymore. Some of the packages are like 65k. $65,000 sticker for a ****ing truck...GTFO!

The only way to stop the price increases is to buy used or keep your vehicle a long time...which is best so both new and used prices come down.

Let me get LTs and a Retune first, do you know how much Kurgan Charges for 2 or 3 pulls?

Watching their vid makes me want a centri setup, ugh. After all my suspension is done...maybe.
