Cortex makes really nice stuff.

You gotta 've specific tho, as cortex also sells koni based coilovers lol.

Their JRI stuff looks nice. But they are Damn proud of it lol

I'm looking at running a monotube setup I think.
If your still looking at an AST setup good luck brother, their are really REALLY hard to get ahold of.
This was the setup I was originally going to run before I purchased my ground controls, but right when I was ready to order them, they haulted production in the US for an amount of time, their finally picking back up, but people had orders in for weeks, don't know the exact situation right now.
Another option would be a set of BC coilovers, they are a monotube, cheap, and if you get the right spring rates, they can be quite comfortable, just ask nosymp.
Whatever you decide to do.. I better be the first to hear. ;)

Niiice Bassani... They're porn to the ears!
Well you see, they should have been on by now... But the mufflers are seized to the OTA pipes. We tried everything, still didn't budge. Soaked it in PB blaster, I am gonna soak it a little more tomorrow and my buddy and I are gonna try it again tomorrow night.

Try tapping the joint with a hammer. Not hard enough to deny the pipe, but enough to loosen things up.

Oh, and just ordered a clutch line from AM. Black Friday sale + site discount code = $42 to my door. Not bad.

I never previously stated that i was looking at ASTs. Ive always admired them and i think they are a seriously good damper, but the price point is fairly different from my original intention of GCs, which are a DAMN good product for the money you pay for them.

The reason im considering monotube...well, let me be specific as all monotubes arent created equal....a high pressure, large piston, adjustable, quality, established monotube- is because I would like to run a spring rate that, for most people, would seem on the stiff side, but with the right set of dampers i think i can get a pretty aggressive track/street rate that will perform extremely well but also ride pretty damn well on the street. Thats my thought anyway, i will be consulting higher authorities who know more about the subject and have more experience with it.

BUT...if i WAS thinking ASTs, it would probably be because i know where I could get a set. Hypothetically speaking, of course... :yes

Gotta sell my house first, then the parts will fly.

Speaking of which, my break is over...back to cleaning...after i order a pizza.

Anyone have any personal feedback on the Ford Racing 624hp Supercharger? 2014 GT. Thanks!
Pretty sure ford racing and roush use a TVS unit. The 2.3 kit is really popular and good for 600+ with supporting boltons, depending on your pulley size

I believe swervo is running one (recently installed) and Blazer07 is running a twin screw IIRC, cant remember what brand tho, id consult them tho. Blazer is a ford master tech and Swervo is a boostaholic, so they are both good sources of "review", so-to-speak.

xXfallout has a TVS IIRC.

Bought a pair of the "Euro" style headlights from AM. After discount the pair was $140 shipped. Anyone need some stockers? I have 2 pair.

Just looked. He has a 2.3L Whipple.

I was gonna say, definitely a Whipple lol

Ah, my mistake, saw someone on Facebook talking about considering an AST setup, and I thought it was you.

We tried that lol. We are gonna try it again tonight, we PB blasted the **** out of both sides the last time we tried it so it would soak in real good. Hopefully tonight they will be on.

Put PCS up in the air to adjust my LCAs, and the damn axle is leaking. Out of the TSB vent tube. Not that I drive it hard or anything. :shiftyeyes

Oh, and moved the LCAs to the upper hole on the relocation brackets, and traction seems improved. But it's 55 degrees out. I need a good warm day.

That diff cover you have. Is there a spot for the vent to go on the top right?

That's were I moved mine to. I like it. There's a baffle in the cover to.

I just let mine puke all it wants. I probably only have a cup of fluid remaining in differential with the way mine pukes. lol

Minor leak around the pinion seal. Just enough to wet it, not enough to drip. Minor leak at my diff cover, same as pinion, very minor. Then an axle vent that went bar hopping for 3 weeks straight and pukes like there's no tomorrow. lol
