Has anybody here had any experience with the SR springs from American Muscle ? Looks like they are a progressive rate spring with the same rate of weight and drop as the FRPP K's...... I'm just asking a question and not starting a battle.. Lol

Hey Kona-That's a good question and I've run the SR Springs on my Bullitt for quite some time and I've been really thrilled with the night and day difference they gave me. On the 11-14 the change in drive characteristics is that much more dramatic! One of our reps here has them on his GT and it cut the cars slop in half. The turn in is fantastic and it doesn't feel like I'm wheeling a 20 year old Caddy on blown struts/shocks.

Hands down one of the best mods you can install on this car and it's going to make it look 100 times better as well! Let me know if you have any questions and if you'd like a killer quote set up shoot me a PM with your email address and I'll get it locked down!

I want to send a shot out and big thx to American Muscles Alex Lazarus for his help n choosing SR springs from AM ! He set me up with a hoop up and killer price on these springs. I read many reviews and checked the specs on these and they were dead even with Frpp K's ......... I couldn't pass on the price ........ Thx again AMAlexLazarus and American Muscle !

I had them on my previous 07 GT, little stiffer ride, but looked great and didn't sound like shocks and struts were blown out lol

My buddy has them on his 14 GT. He loves them. Its a little on the stiff side. Stiffer than my BMRs.

The FRPP K's were out of stock everywhere plus these were dead on specs with the k's which are also stiff I hear but hey for the price I got them for which I can't say I couldn't pass up .......I got hooked up big time .

Do they plant the rear tires well on the street/strip? I have a 2006 GT Coupe and I have been looking for a set of springs that are directed toward drag racing and street driving. Would like to stay on the softer side and drop about 1-1.5". I thought about the Cobra Jet Springs but I think they are specifically for the track. My car is stock other than CAI, Bama Tune, and exhaust. I plan to get LCA's with the lowering brackets, adj. panhard bar, and when money allows a adjustable UCA. A set of one-way adjustable QA1's would be nice to have on the corners too.

BMR! Nice soft spring rate, drops the car 1.5 all around. Great street/strip springs.

I think that's the route I am gonna go too. I have been reading post on this forum for a long time, I just never really post anything. Where is the best place to buy suspension parts?
I guess if I buy BMR Springs I would buy them from BMR... but as far as struts/shocks who has the best prices?

You can buy from BMR or contact Jayman33 on here from hypermotive .....he can set you up with good pricing......far as shocks/struts the brand Koni's are one of if not the best....orange are fixed and yellows are adjustable .....I'm going koni orange

SR Springs are not for drag racing, they are stiff and don't help with digs.
They are nice springs however. I just picked up a new set for my new car for $115 shipped cyber Monday sale :)

Does anyone that has these shocks installed on their car have taller/wider rear tires? How big can you go without worry of rubbing?

I have used SR Springs on both my old v6 and my /CS for a total of nearly 4 years now with no issues on either. They have skyrocketed in price, the first time I bought them they were about $70 from AM and the second time around they were around $80 from AM. both on sale with the MM discount code.

As far as taller and wider, I have 28.5" tall tires with a luscious bulge on mine. No issues of rubbing.

What size rim and tires you running ?

stock 18x8.5 with 265/50-18 on the rear and 255/45-18 up front.

it gives it a "healthy" stance :lol

I only have a few photos of the fronts

That first picture had a 1.25" wheel spacer on the rears that I took off. With the bulge it wasn't working, however a 20mm spacer makes it fit perfectly.
