I started this thread way back when I had an 08 and that thread has thousands of posts now, basically post up whatever you did detailing, modding, etc to your stang! Pics are encouraged
****. Oh well, I hated to leave you waiting on me to make the money haha. Text me pics of the new wheels so I can know more than the rest of these guys. You are correct.
And yes, sold the Forgestars locally. Guy got the deal of a lifetime on them but I had to move them. I'm riding on stock wheels for winter. Bad part about this is these won't get tires and go on the car until spring.....
Heres the deal. The sticker on my '15, would've been within $1,500 of the sticker of my '13 of it had had brembos. Not to mention the quality in this car is literally AT LEAST a decade ahead of the S197.i think the new cars will handle easier for sure, but the specs dont really put it lightyears beyond the s197 chassis lol.
But im glad you dig it man, thats what its about. i think the new ones are cool, they are just too damn proud of them.
Id rather have an SRA car that handled like an IRS anyway lol.
I sold them for 1k.****. Oh well, I hated to leave you waiting on me to make the money haha. Text me pics of the new wheels so I can know more than the rest of these guys.
Im glad your happy man.Heres the deal. The sticker on my '15, would've been within $1,500 of the sticker of my '13 of it had had brembos. Not to mention the quality in this car is literally AT LEAST a decade ahead of the S197.
The interior is mint.
The wheels are fantastic, and the factory tires are for once ADEQUATE. I mean no ****, it pulls right around 1 g in lateral acceleration and I pulled 1.08 g's on braking just laying around.
My '13 couldn't do that on aftermarket wheels/tires, or even on coilovers!
Not to mention the new revised Torsion diff is like nothing I've ever experienced in a Mustang, when your coming out of a corner and you start laying into the throttle, if you start to lose tractions, the sensation of the diff pulling the long wheel back in with you is just plain crazy.
WOW, i woulda drove to IL and handed you 1k on a silver platter lol.I sold them for 1k.
+1, I literally would've driven to IL last weekend had he made me that offer.Im glad your happy man.
I need to get an accelerometer (other than my phone) and see what my car can do with the little mods i have.

I say "sold them locally". Dude that bought them drove 12 hours round trip from Nebraska to pick them up.+1, I literally would've driven to IL last weekend had he made me that offer.Im glad your happy man.

Why not just get a Shelby GT350 when they come out if you like doing the twisties? They'll probably be about the same price. :yesI wasn't impressed with the cornering man. It was not as tight as my boss. It didn't please me at all. I have the torsen diff already so I'm used to that. I will wait for a roush to be released. Hopefully it will compare then.
I really do love the interior and the exterior has massive potential to have killer looks

That's dumb as **** that you can't have competition orange with the redline interior. Assholes
As much as I'd love to believe that you could walk into a dealership and buy one for the "leaked' 53k sticker, it's not going to happen. Why not just get a Shelby GT350 when they come out if you like doing the twisties? They'll probably be about the same price. :yes
Ford Shelby GT350 Revealed!
I do agree, the rope taillights look much better. The ass end looks better on the 13-14 GT's. :yes
As for the sticker, a guy local to me has went to see about putting a deposit on a new GT350 already.
I'll see what he says about price and let you know. :foshizzle:
