^ looks good ....might keep my stocks and do the same....only difference is I got 19x8.5 stocks. So not sure on tire size .....

19s are so hard to buy for. :lol

closest I could find that had even a semi decent tire is a 275/45 but I don't know it it will have the same "large sidewall" look to it.

I would say if you can grab a tire or pair for super cheap from a used tire lot or ebay just to test fit to see if you like them, try it. But I wouldn't buy a pricey pair before then.

Here's a cheapy from ebay you could test fit :lol

Well I might be getting my friends 10th anniversary wheels 18x9/10 so all I would need is rear tires for them.

Anybody know what's the biggest rear tire I could fit lowered 1.5" on a 10" rim w/o rubbing ?

Depends really on how low, and the offset of the wheels.

1.5" drop on stock offset = 26-29" tire with no issues (like mine) I'll be adding a 20mm spacer to correct my offset soon.
2-2.5" drop on fixed offest (flush to fender) wheel = maybe 26-28" tire being careful over bumps.

This picture is mine on a 1.7" drop with a 28.4" tire with a 1.25" wheel spacer; so a correct offset wheel should be fine.

Here is my 07 GT on Boss Laguna Seca Wheels 19x10 rear, 19x9 fronts, 285/35 rear, 255/40 fronts no rubbing 1.5 drop SR Springs

Hey Kona-That's a good question and I've run the SR Springs on my Bullitt for quite some time and I've been really thrilled with the night and day difference they gave me. On the 11-14 the change in drive characteristics is that much more dramatic! One of our reps here has them on his GT and it cut the cars slop in half. The turn in is fantastic and it doesn't feel like I'm wheeling a 20 year old Caddy on blown struts/shocks.

Hands down one of the best mods you can install on this car and it's going to make it look 100 times better as well! Let me know if you have any questions and if you'd like a killer quote set up shoot me a PM with your email address and I'll get it locked down!

How is the ride quality for daily driving on your 08, I'm thinking about putting them on mine.

I have used SR Springs on both my old v6 and my /CS for a total of nearly 4 years now with no issues on either. They have skyrocketed in price, the first time I bought them they were about $70 from AM and the second time around they were around $80 from AM. both on sale with the MM discount code.

As far as taller and wider, I have 28.5" tall tires with a luscious bulge on mine. No issues of rubbing.
