im wanting to go with a small twin turbo setup in the future, im only looking for 350hp. along with other mods, but would 1.7rockers be too much for a mild turbo build?

1.7 rockers will work with any set up. Most cams are spec'd at a 1.6 ratio. 1.7 will increase the valve lift and duration.

So to answer your question, thay will work with a turbo motor but it really depends on the size of your cam, pistons, and heads..

you sir are a tool. what does 1.7 rockers have to do with anything that has boost. i think you should look more into buying a B16A SWAP FOR YOUR SLOW MUSTANG that will only put out 350HP with 2...count them, t w o turbos. please, my lawnmower from ace hardware would outrun your slow, crappy, crappy, crappy, crappy setup just because you're slow and will always be slow and you are the slowest of all slow mustangs because you want TWIN, TWO, DUCE, DOS, A COUPLE of turbos but only want 350HP. You win for worst post on the internet. Here's an idea, put your stang up for sale on craigslist and then hit the unregister button on this forum and go buy a slow honda. its time to jam, eurotek sound, eurotek sound.

EDIT

To answer your answer I think we will find that you are helping someone that is a lost cause. the gentleman wants to run TWIN TURBOS and only make 350HP. Seriously, think about it...take a step back, ponder about life's mysteries and take in the horrible truth that this entire thread is going to be FAIL. The earth is flat and jimmy just sucked the turtles left front index toe nail with green scaly toenail stuff on his foot that is attached to his shell which makes up overall mass of his tiny turtle body.

I get what mustank is saying though. What kind of question is that? You seem to have figured it out that it doesn't matter on your own so why make a thread about it? Why not just google it first? And the whole twin turbo 350hp thing is kinda retarded too lol

yea cuz every twin turbo set up makes 700hp....... including all those audi TT those make ****in crazy numbers...... and google cant always tell u the ups and downs, google isnt expierneced in engine building

#10 ·
what point are you trying to make here?

yea by the way my 191hp engine as it sits with an upgraded fuel system and a tune plus 2 small turbos is gona put me at 3000hp.
you can make really good horsepower with an f cam and a single turbo on your stock motor, more than 300.

Ok, im looking at your sig and im not seeing a aftermarket cam, the Turbo(s) will destroy it, i think it would be a better idea to maybe just put a nice cam in it. Less money and if your goal is only 350HP ( not that the cam will get you there ) but its a lot cheaper.

Dont buy cheap Turbo's in fact if you only want 350HP, dont even buy a turbo. for less money you can pick up a SC Vortech S/C ( low Boost ) And i think that would be the better way to go, imo.

I'm just jumping on the bandwagon here and making a joke along with everyone else. Nothing personal ;)

If you have ANY turbo single or dual on a 5.0 engine and it is only making 350HP, it will definitely be 100% unique and unlike any other turbo Mustang.

On the more serious side.. The average Fox mustang person (and those that participate in this forum) are a little more geared toward performance and most of all, numbers and results, unique is nice but usually second or third down the list. It is a fox body Mustang that was around for 14 years and is over 30 years old, just about everything has been done many times over. The average (not all) import tuner person in the a crowd is a little more geared towards unique and maybe a little more towards status or overall looks than actual hard numbers and performance. There is nothing wrong with thinking either way and to each his own, different strokes for different folks etc... It will be hard to convince a bunch of people in the first crowd that spending all of the time and money to have low numbers and results just to be different is worth it. That is why people are cracking jokes.

i dont get why people dont see this point sometimes. the reason that "EVERYONE is doing it" is because it works. proven combos are what smart people go with. but good luck with your twins

I agree.. I mean to go twins just tells me you want attention or have to make up for a small dick to others or something. Two small turbos is twice the amount of heat, piping and oil lines, tuning that a single involves

wow, this is interesting! i agree with most people, and another addition, if you want to be unique, sell the mustang. Fox body mustangs are like ass holes everyone has one! its like camaro's or civics, you want to do something different, then do something different! build something like a Geo hatch lol i dont see too many of those rolling around twin turboed. but what ever works for you i guess.

Um its his car, so whats the ****in deal if he wants to do what HE wants to do with HIS car. Didnt see any of you paying for the parts he wants so why fly off the ****in wagon on a guy that whats to do what he wants to do????

Maybe not everyone wants to build a 700hp monster car, heaven forbid we all did the same thing..........
