According to KBB. In excellent condition for a 5 speed with 67,000 miles its worth like 17,900 at the dealership. So I'd say if its flawless then 15k is a good deal.

 

If they are asking 15k more than likely they'll come down some. I'd try to talk them down..seems kind of high for the miles to me..I almost bought an 07 with 32K for 16000

My salesman offered my 18,500 for my 07 with 65k miles on it earlier this summer.

 

That's not a bad price at all, though I'm sure you could negotiate a little more. I'm a car dealer and we just got an 06 with 90k miles for a little over $13,000.

Theres a 06 here in my area, white convertible gt, interior needs some cleaning but it only has 19,000 miles for 16k. its a car dealership lot where people bring there cars to sell and they sell them for them

Funny, I had a 97 too that was costing me money all the time. I bought my 06 2 years ago for $21k with 7000 miles.

 

If the mileage doesn't bother you then go for it man just see if you can talk him down like $500 or so

Absolutely. I will jinx myself by saying this, but this Mustang has at this point been far and away the most reliable vehicle I've owned. And that's a lot of vehicles. This one has 65k miles on it, and I beat the ever loving **** out of it. The only times I've been stranded on the road were once with a huge bolt through a tire. (I don't carry a spare. Long story, don't ask. lol)

And another time the alternator went on me, at 59k miles. That's it. I drive mine 500 miles a week, constantly bouncing off the rev limiter, constantly smashing through the gears.... I'll drive along at 75 mph in 4th, just to enjoy the sound and feel.... with 4.10 gears.

It's a great car so far.

 

if it was me, id look for something with fewer miles. got a carmax nearby?

 

Paid 17,900 for my 05 with 21K miles 3 years ago.

 

$15,000 is fair, you can see if they will go lower, get a carfax and think about if you want it.

 

I'd second that, and the miles aren't bad at all. I picked up my 06 early this year for $17,000 with 18,000. Sounds like a good deal.

I paid $18,900 for mine 2 weeks go. 07 with 20k miles. I'd say its pretty good as long as you're ok with the mileage.

 

i bought my 06 auto GT from carmax last summer for 17 and it had 60g miles on it.

 

I paid 18,500 for an 08 with 29K miles from the dealer.

I paid $26,500 for mine with 50 miles on it.

 

I was offered $13,500 for my 06 GT Premium, Automatic with 44,000 miles on it.. I would def try and offer him a lower price.

 

sold my 06 two months ago for $12500

 

That's $2,600 dollars more for only 8k less miles. I would of taken the cheaper one.

I agree, I don't know if I'll ever buy new again. It was nice when new, but now people are buying my same car with less miles for less than my payoff amount with cheaper payments.
