A/C Stopped After Fixing Head Gaskets

I recently replaced the head gaskets on my 00 GT, and as soon as it was back together my A/C stopped working. I'm not really a big believer in coincidence, and I'm really trying to figure out what I never reconnected, or if I broke a wire. I'm just wondering if you guys could help me with a checklist of things to check to figure out why it's not working.

What I've tried so far is a pretty simple test. I had the car running with the compressor unplugged, then plugged it in with the A/C selected in the car. I didn't hear the idle change at all, and I didn't hear the compressor's clutch kick in, which I'm not sure makes a sound anyway, but I decided in my head that it should.

Thanks in advance guys.

As far as I can tell there is only one plug that goes into the compressor, and that is definitely plugged in. I plan on checking their continuity tomorrow, though. Anywhere else I should check?

Check the line pressure. No pressure, no A/C.

I like this part ^^^
I think you are correct, but for the record - I've decided things in my head before and turns out I was completely wrong on multiple occasions.

I hacked out my AC components long ago.

So here is a new question. Wouldn't the compressor's clutch engage regardless of whether there is pressure in the system or not? I'm thinking it's an electrical issue since I've already had to deal with an electrical issue after the gasket repair. If it doesn't engage if there is no pressure, then I'm probably going down the wrong path. I just don't know how it could have lost pressure while I was working on the heads. Is there another plug that controls A/C that I would have removed during the head removal?

check to make sure pressure switch is hooked up back on the passenger firewall.

and to answer your question, no the clutch wont kick on if there is no refrigerant unless you jump it at the compressor.

you probably either cracked a line a bit and let out some refrigerant or maybe that harness is unplugged.

I checked the switch and it seems like that was fine. If I jump the switch it makes the idle erratic. I checked all of the wires and they are all continuous, which puts me at ease. I'm thinking it must be loss of pressure. Thanks guys.
