So I'm planning on changing to a Manuel trans in my 95 5.0 and I have heard that there is a difference in the o2 sensor harness. What I would like to know is if I can bypass this by either installing a resistor or rerouting the current so that I can use the auto ecm with the Manuel trans.

OK I got your answer on sbftech.com
SN95 Mustangs don't have to worry about this problem,so go ahead and connect everything up just like you planned.

The info below is a quote from Joel at sbftech.com
as to why you don't need to worry about shorting the signal return line, like occurs in the Foxbodys.

Anyway, the problem is not present in the SN95 with the 4R70W simply because Ford didn't combine the NSS ground signal to pin 30 with the START circuit voltage as they did in the Fox w/the AOD.

Again, you posted in a fox body forum, and got fox body info. Sn's and up do not have a separate harness for the O2 like a fox does. They are all the same.
