I put new brakes and Rotors on all the way around. I took a trip and 1 time i noticed when i had to stop fast that there seemed to be a pull to one side. A noticable pull, plus there is brake dust on my rims. Anyone know why it would make the car jerk to the right when i had to brake hard plus why i have the dust?

the dust comes from the pads. i have to clean mine off every couple of weeks or they get really dusty. and mine was pulling to the left side if i stopped real hard so i replaced the caliper and it was fine. so i'm not sure but you might have a bad caliper. i'm not 100% sure on that one though. just going by my situation on that one.

If you have semi-metallic pads, be ready to clean your wheels a lot (I put semi-metallic pads on a month or so ago and next time I'll be going ceramic). As far is it pulling, I would pull the caliper, recompress it, make sure the pads are seated correctly, and see if that helps at all. If not, mcloving is probably right about your needing to replace the caliper.

some pads create more dust then others... so the ones you have might create alot...

as far as stopping... that can be a couple different things... but if i recall corretly our cars are known to pick a side when slamming on the brakes

Going through a puddle would cause it. same with getting any oil or grease on the pad. maybe that caliper wasnt compressed enough. It may just work itself out by evening the pads or drying out or w/e was wrong. or you may need to get in there and fix something.

Now i noticed when i apply the brake im getting that scratch sound. The brakes dont have but 1200 miles on them. It all started after i did that hard brake to avoid an accident. Thats when i started noticing the brake dust (never was before) and now the scratch sound when i brake.

you could check to see if the pad is chipped on a corner or something that. I've seen it before.
