i havent done much but heres my list... i have the 3.9l from the 04 stangs, LTS,o/r H with super 40s, screamin demon coil pack, msd wires, cai, 93 octane tune, spec stage 2 clutch thats all

^^^ Makes sense, with a good driver 15.4 is feasible with those mods. Any form of boost is going to love those LT's thats for sure. But of course it depends on how your savings account mod is doing. If money isn't an issue and you just want to make a v6 drag car.... ported heads, lower + upper intakes, forged internals, turbo running a decent amount of boost, eh the list could go forever. Whats your budget? We can help a lot more if we knew that.

well i just sold my 65 tbird for a very genorous amount going to by my truck in an hour so i was thinking about 10 to 15k in the sixxer

Blah I''m not reading all that, TURBO TURBO TURBO. I'd say twin 28R's you'll be able to utilize them to there full potential, **** longtubes, you'll end up selling them when you buy your turbo manifolds. I'd say spray meth, you'll be able to run higher boost, I think I heard something about forged internals? it's not a must if you plan on runnin' 8 psi but anything more SAFELY requires building her up. Look into stroking her to a 4.2 and a good cam for the turbo setup you choose, Kyle (ESG) can help you with that. Or you can jjust buy the whole SS port and polish kit that comes with the cam, heads, lower and upper intake manifolds. hmmm i'll think of something else in a min I'm sure

That's incorrect.

Pretty sure its what everyone who has a 4.2 used. But don't quote me on that.
I'm quoting you on it. :p Using the crank, rotating assembly, or even a full short or longblock from a F150 4.2L is much more common.

Why? have one small and one large is just to keep boost through both the low and the high RPM's. If it was a large boost only it wouldn't kick on till higher RPM's. If it was just a small turbo it would only help with the lower RPM's and fade off into the higher. At least when I have read about twin turbo's that is how they describe it. So I would assume twin turbo would keep a more constant boost of air which would make it easier to tune because it wouldn't fluctuate as much through the RPM's.

I could be wrong, and I am sure someone has done the tune before and can give more insight, but even in basic mathematic principles a constant variable is easier to calculate than one that varies or increases/decreases.

wow lots of posts im not sure on the tuning for one large and one small turbo but ive seen some street racers use that for there setup and as far as the 4.2 its just using a block of a f150?

Also, the 94-95 SC rods were improved over the 89-93's as they were factory bushed for full floating pins. And yes, all 89-95 SC pistons were forged. Other than a short run of Duracast cranks in the very early 89's, all SC cranks were forged as well.
