Hey dudes...

So we all know I got water in my coil packs. .. really messed with my plugs.. I cleaned it all up.. regapped... and such. Car has driven aboit 250 miles.. now the service light comes on and it reads cop circuit malfunction E.. pack #4 was the wetest.... does the "e" mean anything? Or an indicator as to which one it is?

The scanner also reports misfire check in the I/m log as ok...

I cleared the code last night with autozones scan tool. The code I get back
0355 is coil pack failer on cyl #5 (first cylinder drivers side closest to the radiator)
But the "E" if relates to firing order? I believe thats actually cop #6.
The connector clip is broke on #5.
Our other car has a major issue.. so we drove the mustang to work... and after my wife dropped me off she said the service engine light started flashing... but the car drove fine to her work 13 miles. She let it idle in the parking lot... and said it idled ok.. to her it seemed a little rough... the service engine soon light stayed solid. No sputtering or stalling.
After she turned the car off she smelt the sweet coolant smell.
Really getting tired of this ****...

No one has replied.
But after some tinkering. I swapped cop #5 and 6 cleared the check engine light.
Car starred and idles good.. went in and out od drive n reverse no issues.. then I noticed the terminal connector for cop #5 the originating issue has a broken locking tab. Perhaps ot was sliding off amd arcing the cop. So I taped it up with electrical tape. And I orderd a pig tail from orielys. $25 but that's probably the issue. And if a cop giges me an iasie they have a replacment coil for 47$

I drove 20 miles on surface streets ranging frok 15 to 55 mph.. and no light
:D
