Hey guys i bought a HID kit off of DDMtuning and im attempting the install now...The kit is 35w and just the low beam. I have a couple questions

With this kit do i have to plug anything into the battery?

I didnt think i had too and i have everything what i though plugged in right but they wont turn on

Ill post pictures up in a minute...

Thanks for the help

no need to wire anything to the battery with that kit. It is suuuper simple plug-n-play.

In that picture, I believe all 3 connections coming off the ballast (black box) just plug into the matching connections from the other piece. And the blue plug connects to your stock wiring where your current stock bulb is. I think that is correct lol

hmm thats what i thought it should be but i had no luck when i had it plugged in...

is it possible that these wires should be switched or is there something stupid simple i could be missing

Tough to see but this is when i had it plugged in and they wouldnt come on but the fog lights would still work

hmmm sure looks like everything is correct. Have you tried using like the other ballast on that side to see if that changes anything? Do you have both sides hooked up and not working or just this one so far?

yea i tried both ballasts on both sides with both bulbs earlier today with no luck... so i just put back in the stock headlights for now and i was gonna give it another shot tomorrow night if anyone had any other suggestions that it could be

Wow really neither side or combination of cables is working? That is pretty strange, I wonder if it is some sort of faulty product? I have always had good luck with DDM's stuff and it is really easy to set up (it sure looks like you had it correctly as there is really only one way it will all go together).

yea thats what i was confused at too lol...i ordered hid bulbs to replace my foglights which already had hids and they were perfect...

I thought i was doing something wrong with the headlights because i thought at least one would work and maybe one be dead lol

I guess ill give it another shot tomorrow then go from there....

Thanks for the help

No problem, good luck! I really doubt that both sets would be faulty so I'm sure there is an explanation. Hopefully more tinkering with it will work, just double check all connections and try to turn it off and on a couple times. My left side likes to not turn on like 25% of the time on the first try which is weird lol

There are a few tutorials online.. In case you need to see something for a good hands on. Just youtube it! I've heard of some people getting a faulty set. You might have to send it back and get a new one?

ive had bad luck with DDM stuff... first sent me the wrong parts, then my fogs went out, then a bad wiring harness, now passenger bulb... im buying a new kit from someone else and calling it quits. hopefully once u get it figured out your luck is better than mine has been
