no it doesn't have the skirts. it has the side trim from a gt that says "gt" in front of the rear wheel. it looks good. i think all he did was swap out the side trim from a same year gt.

 

There is a member here that has a green notch with gt skirts and bumpers.

I actully like the idea behind a notch with GT ground effects dont see many of them around so they are out of the ordinary =). there was a red notch with wide tires in the rear and gt ground effects on Pinks All Out. Looked sweet

 

I can't bring myself to do the GT skirt thing.

 

there are no skirts on an 86 gt, however there is noted to be a couple GT coupes around, get the vin number and i can run it for you to see if it is actually a GT or not.

 

Sorry guys he ask about a 86 GT coupe and no they didn't make one of those, the guy has put GT body moldings on a coupe.

 

85-86 cars can pull it off..

As the GT and lx bumpers went too much different and the gt bumpers arent so agressive... now the 87 and up gt bumpers are totally diff than lx and look awful.

 

There was a couple production GT coupes in 86, they were on a special line with the mercury capri (crimson cat, black magic) and the convert capri. Apperently the gt coupe is extremely rare, but again there were no skirts on any pre-87 gt's,
send the VIn and i will have it confirmed.

 

i'll get the vin. i'm too curious.

 

See if you can find a picture of one I have never seen or even heard about these cars,was it a true factory car or a dealer made option.I know that the production numbers for 85 86's are sketchy
