Yes. where the pipes from the mufflers conect to your stock h-pipe they need to be longer

no matter what muffler you go with some of your exhaust pipes will have to be added to or cut shorter, its just some thing you need to factor into your budget. you cant just get mufflers and bolt them in. well if you want it done right that is. you want to keep your mufflers in the stock location so if you ever buy prebent tail pipes they will bolt or weld right in. they wont fit if you change your mufflers location. well they would but then you would need to do a bunch of work later on down line to get every thing to go together right

alright thank you, im 16 so my parents are makin me pay for my aftermarket stuff myself haha..i found the super 10 mufflers for $73 on flowmasters website..and you said the tail pipes are around $130 right?

dont buy them from flowmaster. they are cheaper on ebay. i dont know why but they are. just make sure that the seller you pic has low shipping. Like i said i payed like $55 for each muffler i forget the shipping cost maybe $15-$20 and the tail pipes were $135 with $12 shipping. if you buy it all from ebay you will save about $60.

would i have to get flowmaster tail pipes or can i get any dual tail pipe that fits my car?
cuz i found one for $126 just a few min. ago

Any one that was made for your car should fit as long as you keep you mufflers in the stock location. but make sure....ask the seller questions tell them you what to use flowmaster super 10s and if there tail pipes will bolt or weld right up.

remember when you buy the mufflers to buy two of them. so where it said Quantity: enter (2) most of the time they will only charge you shipping on one of them. thats $10 savings. make sure you know what you want before you but it so sleep on it figure out your budget and then look around for the best deals. there just some things you dont want to cheap out on or you will end up redoing them all over again costing you more time and money. thats why im saying that you may as well spend a little more money now and get the tail pipes because do you really want to cut and reweld your stuff twice. as for me the answers no....

No you dont have to weld them, you can you muffler clamps, thats what im doing until i get them welded, but they leak a little and move around, not alot though. if you have to clamp them then clamp them. dont let me talk you into spending money you dont have. But hey one more thing.... I dont know if you live in a state where you dont have to get your car smoged, but if you ever take your cats off and run an off road H or X pipe i think the super 10s will be to loud. If you run an off road pipe of some kind you may want to go with super 40, 44 or the original 40. just thought id put that out there

yeah for now ima just use the clamps until i weld them...and yes i know i have to use cats cuz the emissions ppl are way to restrictive over here..how many cats does stock come with on a 95 5.0?

i think 4, thats what mine had, now im running 2

also, can you help me look for tailpipes for pretty cheap..i found a couple for $120 but it was for one pipe

can you just take them off with no problem?
No there welded to the stock h-pipe. just keep an eye out for a used x or h pipe thats how i got mine for a $100. After maket pipes just put two high flowing cats on. or you can run an off road pipe wich means that it doesnt have cats and there like $110-$150 new for my car. for some reason parts cost more for 94-95 mustangs. Ill look around for tail pipes for you

GO TO A WELD SHOP FOR WHAT ? IF YOU GET AN AFTER MARKET X OR H PIPE WITH OR WITH OUT CATS IT BOLTS RIGHT IN. NO WELDING NEEDED. THE ONLY STUFF THAT NEEDS WELDED IS CAT BACK SYSTEMS. i DONT KNOW FOR SURE THAT YOUR CAR ONLY HAS 4 CATS, BECAUSE I THINK A 1996 MUSTANG HAS 6 CATS BUT I COULD BE WRONG. I JUST LOOKED CANT FIND ANY TAIL PIPES RIGHT NOW, JUST REMEMBER YOU NEED TO CHECK EVERY DAY FOR THE PARTS YOU WANT. BECAUSE WHAT IS NOT FORE SALE TODAY MAYBE FOR SALE TOMORROW . BUT I WILL STILL KEEP MY EYE OPEN FOR ANY THING. BUT HEY CHECK OUT THESE SWEET EXHAUST TIPS 2 1/4" HEART STRAIGHT EXHAUST MUFFLER TIP: eBay Motors (item 180548698164 end time Nov-15-10 11:50:36 PST)
