You really can't tell much about a cam by it's lift, and full advertised duration numbers, but that cam sounds way small for a 347. My cam has almost that much duration at .050.
Don't just look at cams, and pick one. If you're stuck with an OTS cam, which is not a good choice IMO, get your whole combo lined out. Know everything that's going to be on the car, your compression, gears, weight of the car......everything. Once you get everything lined out, then call the cam manufacturers and let them recommend a cam to you. There's no way the average car guy can spec a cam. There's way too much that goes into it. If you just pick one, there's a 99.9% chance that you're leaving a whole lot on the table.
Two cams can have the same lift, and total duration, and be totally different. With those numbers, you know nothing about ramp rates, overlap, centerline, ect......which all affect cylinder pressures, and those are the things that determine how the cam will perform.
Get your whole combo and then you get the cam. It's always the last piece of the puzzle. If you buy a cam, then try to build an engine around it, it will be a giant turd.
