so i havn't been to pick up the car and get the sheets yet, but i talked to the tuner today and was really please with the results of my procharger to turbo switch. at first car wasn't responding well made low 300's whp then after putting new spark plugs in and started the new tune (since the old shops sucked). after some tweaking it woke up making 370 whp @ 6 psi. then after turning it up to 11 psi it made 488 whp which he said shocked him. fuel system was running lean after 5500 rpm's so he turned the boost down to 9 psi and made it little less aggressive and the result was in the 420's at 9 lbs of boost. i'm really amazed and pleased with on3's new system. he said it was far superior to the old kit they offered, tomorrow i'll have the sheets and data to upload. just thought i'd share, thanks for everyone's help.

Nice man congrats! I cant believe it made 488 @ 11psi. Thats insane. Just for the base 70mm On3 turbo too. Cant wait to see the dyno sheet

Congrats sure sounds like you got your moneys worth.

I can turbos are more efficient. With a low compression forged shortblock and everything else stock except cams I made 515 at 11.5 psi @ 16* total timing with a V1 S-trim.

Cams were only thing besides the TB/plenum and full mac exhaust on the car that makes power. So a turbo minus cams should make close to 500 at about the same boost level since the SC loses 29% of the power it makes just turning it's self. But it does sound like a nice kit and a nice bang for the buck. When everything on the cars works in harmony 11 psi on a mod motor can make good numbers.

yeah ddude thats sweet. what kind of tq number too? that should be impressive as well.

is it a built motor? what else is done to it?

i havn't seen tq numbers, i'm really intrigued to see myself. i'm certain it cracked 500 wtq @ 11 psi. i have no idea, about the 6 & 9 psi. it's a stock engine, so we are pushing limits i'm certain leaving it in the 420's. it's got and intake plenum, bbk throttle body, turbo headers, 3" downpipes into the slp mufflers now using a sct tuner.

Thats alot of power! I definatley just made my decision on what turbo kit to buy. definatley going with the gen 2 on3 kit. Any videos? Does it make that rushing sound at wot? Sorry lol, I just love that sound of turbod mustangs when the wastegates open up.

Impressive numbers through an automatic. Very nice. Be sure to post the 9 psi dyno sheet. I would like to see how it differs from a ProCharger.

thanks everyone i will post all the dyno sheets when i pick it up this afternoon. i think i have old procharger sheets too, to post. i was pleased to see numbers, i'll ask what brand dyno - could be a friendly one. not certain, friendly or not though it's way over what i made with the p1sc, no offense to it. i'll take a video tonight if i can and show a quick walk around and see if i can get a couple pulls.

That's what I plan on doing, running an open wastegate. Don't you have to run it so there's a pipe going off of it away from the car, because it'll shoot flames? Only pain in the ass thing is covering up where the wastegate would recirculate.

I am interested in seeing his dyno sheet, I havent finished installing my kit yet. But with those numbers I am very eager to see what a lies.

That cobra sounded nasty man. Wastegates sound so sick when there vented. This one sounds badass too

guys scanner is down, but i tried to take a picture of the dyno sheets and show the numbers. bottom figures are hard to see, but you can clearly see the hp & tq curves through the rpm band. little details about the 2 sheets i am showing. i didn't get the final pull and tune printed out, i'm going to fix the scanner so when i get the sheet from him, i can show these better. He simply said 9 psi made in between 420-430 whp and 440-450 wtq if I remember correctly. Hope you guys enjoy, I was so pleased.

1st Sheet : @ 6 psi made 369 whp & 396 wtq
2nd Sheet: @ 11 psi made 488 whp & 486 wtq
