the shorty headers will give you no gain and be a waste IMO. there is no reason to get them, save that money for something else. everything else looks good and yes your creditcard is save on those sites, i have ordered from AM and mufflermall.com and been very pleased with the customer service.

Idk why so many ppl like the flows. they just dont sound right on the 6's. you want a good sound when your actually driving i say you should go with the macs :)

the reason for small gaind on our cars i sbecause it is even firing ordre so the stock manifoldes can do just fine at removing the gases, and there isent to much of a back up

Soo, I have a question about exhausts.. It seems like the H-pipe is popular here. I was going to get an x-pipe, because I remember reading somewhere that it was better, but I don't remember why. Which is better? Also, is it recommended that I buy my own exhaust and bring it to the shop to have them put it on, or can I/should I buy it directly from the shop?

on our cars a midpipe really does nothing for performance because we have even iring engines, it just gets rid of some of the raspyness. i went with an H pipe.

i had my exhaust all custom made at a shop. you can buy it online and them have them install it, ususally runs about $150 for instal, its up to you as to what you want to do. depending on the shop sometimes its cheaper to buy everything and have it installed because i got some rediculous quotes for exhaust. but i had hookups at an exhaust shop so i had mine custom made.
