I've pondered the idea of installing 4.10s in my auto for the past year and I finally decided to nut-up and get it done. They're going in tomorrow and I might drive it out to our local track (not to race), but to wear them in on the drive. I'm hoping to get as good of results as everyone seems to say. I'll post up again once I get a chance to feel them out. :spankit

Definitley do it. Imo gears don't need to be broken in. After my 3.73s, i beat the piss out of the car. Figure, not broken in from the factory.
A couple heat cycles wouldn't hurt though.

Anyone know at what speed will I hit revy in 3rd on 4.10s? I currently hit 140 before revy with 3.27s.
make sure to adjust your speedometer after the gears so you dont rack up your odometer faster.
op youre going to love the 4.10s had mine installed awhile back and theyre still my favorite performance mod so far
what other mods do you have op? Can you really go low 13s with just 4.10s and other small bolt ons?
hmm thats interesting we have really similar mods I wonder what I could run. Youre probably a better driver than me tho I need a driver mod bad when it comes to racing lol
My job is pretty simple at the track. 1k-1.5k rpm, feather out the throttle to keep traction, romp on it. Driver mod = Auto
My 3.73's on my fox were a complete night and day amazzzzing different. **** was like wham! Seat!
