Borla Stingers FTMFW or GTFO.....lol jk

 

Borla stingers. They may not be as loud as the Bassanis, but just because a system is loud doesn't mean it sounds good. I would rather have a slightly quieter system that sounds badass, than a super loud system that is just noise.

In order of loudness I would say

Bassani
Borla
MBRP

 

I'm kind of leaning toward the MBRP myself

 

Gotta say Stingers for that deep rumble.

 

just curiousity killing me... i love the "look" of the originals, any aftermarkets "look" stock, but bigger? i was thinking the mac axlebacks look close.

ask ur tuner whether it be bama, bren, or whoever to make u and emission inspection tune so u dont have to worry about inspection.. i got the slp x and slp lms and love it!

 

Oh and I know alot of you guys are Stingers fans, but get the FRPP because they're usually cheaper, but on LM the Borla's are only $491.00.

Installed the exhausts just cuz....now I have ordered the catted x pipes. Apparently they are like potato chips and no one told me. DOH!

Anyway you go is great - it's personal pref really...

I'm not sure. All I know is I want my exhaust to be deep, LOUD, and throaty.

 

Anyone know how Borla Stingers will sound on my 06, compared to the ones I had on my 02 with the MRT H?? Would they be louder or quieter?? And how about with an O/R H or Prochamer???

No, its deff loud, it just sounded a little hollow (canny) at first, it has been changing (a little)every time i drive her (deeper)

Is it wake the neighborhood loud?? With just a catback my 02 was, and with a MRT catted H it was louder yet. So i'm guessing the O/R must be up there in loudness. :dunno

prochamber and stingers FTMFW...mine was canny at first. It has settled in, it's been 5 months and WOW!! so deep and so throaty. Loud when you want it to be but can also be just loud enough when cruising so you can think and hear people giving you compliments

check with 07stanggt, thats where i got mine, and the lowest price i found....this isnt a cheap pipe thou... it is stainless steel ....around $400 if i remember correctly...

a pypes o/r H or X would be cheaper.. its all in what ya like and can afford

i didn't find magnapaks to be very deep. They were loud, but more of that aggressive race sound. Think my Macs are deeper and I would think the Stingers would be even deeper.
