3-73's here in a 5 speed, i had 4-10's in a automatic stang i used to own

 

What did you think about the 4.10's. I am running a T5.

 

T5, richmond 3:73s....

 

frpp 4:10's (yes in my cougar)

 

Non daily will probibly be more 1/8th mile car...

 

oh then do 4:56's....

 

actually why not 5:14s....

WTF why not...will you're in there put in some 35 spline wooden axles and an rubber t-lock set-up....i was serious about 4:56's though...

I always thought 4-10's would be a little much for a 5 speed but they were perfect for the aod. Imo

 

no they were rlly fun gears...thinking about going back...im going back to stock 2:73..this sunday...waiting about 1-2 weeks and richmond 4:10s...hopefully...

 

Yep that is what I have now the 2.73. Will there be any noticable difference??? (J/K)

 

4:10s in my AOD...If i had a 5 speed, i'd run 4:10s as well...with a 6 speed, i'd run 4:30s or 4:56s...If my car saw no street, it would have 4:56s.

 

This is on my 90. Cobra upper and lower intake, bbk 70mm throttle body, long tube headers, bbk o/r h-pipe, 2 chamber flows with dumps, tfs stage 1 cam, ported 351w heads with a valve job. Going to have it dyno tuned soon any idea of what it would make. I would like to see it hit about 300 rwhp.

Thats kinda wack because I ran a 12.23 with very similar mods on street tires.... only I had autocross suspension.... and just different branded parts....

 

Well I have a 98 4.6l gt and a 90 lx 5.0 notch.

 

auto-4.10 manual- 3.73

 

with 4.10s and a t5 what kind of mph would you be at around 5500 rpms? i know it depends on tire size and all but just on average what mph have you guys seen in 4th gear. i am thinking of switching from 3.55s to 4.10s.

 

With the stock 17-in wheels and 245/45-17 tires. I'm right at around 100mph at 5500 rpms.

do you have a 1998? or do you have a fox, if you have an 8.8 there is o need for a 9 inch, the 8.8 is good for what you will want and richmond for the brand

 

I have both. I have 4.10 in my 98 but stock gears in the 90. This will be the 90.

 

I have 3.73's 5 speed and I run about 3K at 80 MPH. They are awesome I love the gearing and I dont think I would need to step up to 4.10's that to much gear IMO.


And I still get 18MPG on the interstate at 80 MPH

 

4.10's on a t5 (less dd, more weekend's)

3.55's on aod (more dd, and alot of weekends)

 

i run 3.55's on the street and they work fine and don't suck a lot of fuel..but if your going to do alot of racing, I use 4.11's at the track but make sure you get some sticky tires

i used to run 3.90s but since im going turbo i switched to 3.55
