ok, so i am having idle issues and i thought i would start by checking the voltage for my IAC...How the f do i do this? I have a voltmeter...thought i was doing it right but got a reading of 12.2v...its suppose to be like .80 or 1.0 right? do i check this with the IAC plugged into the harness? DO i test just the leads when its unplugged? I feel like a dumbass but this ****in thing is driving me crazy...help please..

sorry, i meant TPS voltage....my readings are way off...how exactly would i make sure im checking it right...where should the voltage meter be set?

also, think i tried the wrong two wires one time and the fan came on...i touch the leads with the tester and the fan shut off...wtf??????

anywhere from .96 to .99 - most set to .98
