Im thinking about getting new headers for my 02' GT. Which would most likely be my best buy, considering HP and torque and keeping a reasonably price range, and how hard is it to change on these cars, I can see it looks like its tricky to get to.

long tubes...
if you plan on getting a s/c everyone says thats the best route to go anyway. most power too. u'll need a x or h pipe tho to make it fit i believe

they are def a pain in the ass. the easiest way is to drop the k member but can be done without doing so. for a reasonably priced header, i would say go with bbk l/t with the ceramic. i think you can find them for around $480. pm crazylegs and see what he can do for you with the forums discount. anyways good luck and let us all know what you do.
PS: stay away from mac. they ahve poor quality control, and dont last as long, but hey they are cheap. but remember you get what you pay for!

ohh short tube and long tube prices arent a big price difference..just a big hp difference

I really like the gains I saw from long tubes and o/r x on my car. Definitely worth the headache to install them.
