im very happy with my bbk l/t

 

u cant go wrong with BBKs the new MACs, i use mac LTs, if you want the best get ARHs or kooks, but if you got a budget like the rest of use stick with the bbks or macs

 

i have BBK LT...and they work perfect....and the sound...awesome...

 

kooks if you got the money...bbk though seem to be a favorite..also mac (by the way were assuming long tubes..righttttt)

 

I have had nothing but bad luck with MAC, the #1 primary sweeps across #2,3,4 making it difficult to install the already difficult header bolts.

Choices in order:
1. Kooks (arm and a leg)
2. Hooker super comps (priced fair and have a great primary length for a modular)
3. BBk ( priced best and have a very nice fit and finish)
4. CAM (newer company) stainless steel and I have heard the fit is great.

I tested the first three and the Hookers cam in a little above the rest on a N/a mild build. FWIW

 

Has anyone tried the Pypes headers that recently surfaced?

 

i think MeZ did it on his new gt

 

i think the bassani mid lengths would bring the best of both worlds optimal hp, torque

 

will the kooks, have that clearance issue like bbk, or is it all longtubes in general?

 

sorry to rob the thread but how dose you car sound with the bassani x and magnapacks this is the set up i want to go with all i need is the catback,,,do you have a sound clip?


and i thik the crearance problem is only with some headers

Yea, I am going to get long tubes. I wont even waste the money on shorties, I was thinking about trying the new pypes. Waiting for some reveiws though

 

i run macs and they work fine. no clearence isues. i would do kooks if you have the $ though

 

But why though? Because they are almost double the price of the others. More power, better sound, better fit? What is it?

 

I been thinkin about gettin headers myself but don't wanna hafta change the midpipe out. I know the BBK LT's seem to be a good price and always were a good set of headers.
