Ok, I was driving to work today and the car wasn't feeling quite right. I looked under the hood and I found that a hose comming from the valve cover (pass side) that was going into my CAI had a broken connection going into the CAI. What does that do, and what if any problems may accure untill I can get that piece fixed. And can I simply glue the conector, it's hard black plastic, back on there?

That does look like it. It comes off of the valve cover..On second look, I'm not so sure that is it.. That looks to be coming from the front. I'm looking at the side, and near the back of the valve cover is a breather hole, with a hose coming out, that attached to the side of my K&N CAI...

these are the only 2 hoses that attach to your cai.. is it the red one or the multicolor one?

its a vaccum line.

you can buy a new hose cheap at any parts store.

you car will run but it will run like crap without it.

What does the other hose do?

dont quote me on this because i don't drive a v6 but i believe that is your air tempature sensor.
