so i installed my cams and also did delete plugs, i started the car two days ago, everything was good, shut it off a few times and started it a few more times, didnt drive the car yesterday. tonight i decided i wanted to hear the cams lope and head to the gas station for a drink...
i drive there, turn off the vehicle, buy a soda, then i leave, as i am driving home the check engine light comes on... reads 2015 and 2020, said something about the intake, only thing i did with my custom tune was adjust option.. idle neu 725 vs. the old 775... but i guess i dont know what this code is exactly? any help would be great... and how to solve this issue, i already cleared the dtc and started it again and no check engine light????

Did you remove the linkage and motor? It is the position sensor for the motor, the reason it doesn't come on until you drive it is because that system doesn't operate until you drive it, and then when the monitor runs, it sees that the motor is not moving. You can disable the monitor with a tuner.

Just some heads up. The codes are set up P for powertrain second character is 0 1 or 2, 0 being OBD II generic, 1 and 2 for manufacture specified. Third character for the system, air metering, fuel system, etc. And the last two are the specific components.

makes sense, i have the motor on there still, i will have to check with bama and see if they deleted the motor there. if so i will yank the intake out and pull the little motor off, didnt even think of that, it is still on there with no arms... thought that was a little silly haha, so lets see! reps man!

hey man... called BAMA today and they sent me a new tune in about 10 minutes, they put my delete plugs in my street tune, but forgot to in my performance and race... so he fixed and got it to me right away! and wow... huge difference, cams and the plugs are pulling a lot better!
