I put my old carrier back in cuz i had ruined the piece of paper i has with all my measurements of the stock carrier and spun it while it was dry, well mostly and now i cannot get the differential pinion shaft out! its seized in the center of one of the spider gears ive been pounding the **** out of it and it moved like a 1/4 inch what can i do! i was thinking about getting a 2 jaw bearing puller hooking it to the carrier and seeing if i can press the shaft past the spider hear its seized in. the other spider gear is free floating on the shaft and will slid out no problem. think my idea will work?

dude ive been pounding the bastard for like 4 hours with a brass mallet and a brass punch
it aint moving

sounds like you siezed the bearing

toss some gear oil in to see if it will free it up.

afterwords you are going to want to inspect that bearing for damage and replace if needed.

haha yah i would see but me being me i put the back axles in to make sure everything was as it was so the measurements would be true. this bitch isnt cummin out till i can pull the pinion shaft and remove the c clamps on the axles so i can slide them back out.

well i had some gear oil on it it wasnt dry dry but it wasnt full either u know. i thought i put enough in there but the spider gear just isnt showing me no love

i filled the ****in thing up with penetrating oil last night. my buddy has my spare key and just messages me and said he is going to attempt the impossible now so we will see if that helped.

you think using a 2 jaw puller latch it to the diff carrier and use the center shaft to press the pinion shaft out will work?

i would say heat it up to let the metals expand but I am not sure if the gear oil is flammable or not.
