gears, they wont give you power but you will gain about 2-3 faster than you are now, if you get 3.73s or 4.10s you will fall in love with them, then get nitrous or start with bolt ons............look at what johnson posted

^ lol i was in the same boat as you man, had a sixer, made it look nice...but unless u have money thats about all u can do with one, itd be easier to finance a GT within ur budget

I heard a z today sounded like straight ass lol

and nitrous 800 bucks and your in the 13s

 

nah ive heard v6 with h-pipe and flowmaster 40s, and it sounds pretty damn good

thats actually the set up i had on my v6, sounds great from idle, but the higher the rpm the worse it sounded

yeah man, full bolt ons and nitrous, more details in the links he posted check out the exhaust thread too a few clips including my old v6

 

LOL most of this thread could have been resolved if the guy woulda read the stickies.

BTW IMO there NO cheap way to get more power. CAI, duals,pullys,throttle body, all that **** adds up an u wont get but 8 or 9 hp!

an $800 for nitrous isnt cheap. i think he meant 0-500 range lol

Just go buy a gt.. a 99 gt with low miles can be had for around 5-6k

a BEAST would require a built motor from a 2v 4.6 or a v6 motor.

 

tell u what dude, get a cai, dual exhaust, gears, t-lok, and a tune, then go smoke some honduz.

Nitrous is the way to go, nothing will even come close in comparrison for the price. And everyone can have their own opinion, but a cammed v6 with longtube, catted h-pipe, and decent catback doesn't sound like **** at all.
