How long does it take to get your bamachips? I ordered mine this morning but the website doesn't really give me an idea of how long it takes.

I know lots of MM poeple have gone through bamachips so what time frame should I expect?

Thanks in advance!

Another question... I ordered the JLT CAI with the SCT tuner... you know, the combination package. The JLT boasts gains of 28-32 hp (which sounds inflated to me). I should get some more HP out of the tune as well.

Realistically, what gains in HP and torque can I expect from the CAI and tune?

Thanks again!
MM'ers are friggin awesome!

that gain is the combination of the tune and the CAI, believe me, theyre real numbers, hell, steeda claims upwards of 35-40 with a tune...and after my cai and tune, takig 9 tenths off my 1/4 time, i may be convinced.

28-32 HP with a C&L, JLT or Steeda CAI and tuner combo, nothing more than that. 40 is way pushing it!

Well that's pretty good... would probably get me close to 300 HP at the rear wheels. I'm a little concerned; I have to take my car back to my man that installed the gears Monday. I'm leaking gear oil. I hope it's something simple.

I'm very ready to get my CAI/tune package though. I ordered the 87 perf, 93 perf and 93 torque tunes. I'll probably run the 93 torque tune the most.

Do BOTH the performance AND the torque tunes help with throttle lag or is that more just the torque tune?

they both will give you that crisp feeling of having a wire connected to the t/b again. the will both get rid of that lag.

I have all three 93 tunes from doug. the performance and torque tune feel the same to me. Like mav said the tune will get rid of the throttle lag. Its still not enough though, I want more. LOL

tune wouldn't do that, your car probably was faster, but you probably drove the car better. The 2005 gt can go 13.6 atleast in stock form... so it was probably more of the driver mod that helped you attain those times.
