Is it a 4v of a 2v? i forget. If its a 4v then its just like the termi heads. And if it is then you can just get the adapter plate for about 2 grand (think its a bit more) to make it fit. Then all the odds and ends you would need to make it work.

 

I think the lightning is a 5.4l 2v until 99, I think, they changed the f-150 to a 3v 5.4l. In any case, I would like to to know if the manifold is the same between the 5.4l 2v and a 4.6l 2v.

 

they didnt go to 3v until 2005.

 

I would like to say probably lol. Im not positive if the heads are the same. Some of the truck guys will have to chime in on that.

lightning is a 2v. but the distence from head to head is more on the 5.4 so therefor it would not work on the 4.6 unless you did somthing crazy to the manifold

 

The deck height makes the 5.4 wider then the 4.6 ...
So they can only be adapted by plates or a custom intake...
