i was thinking about getting some lowering springs for my 95 mustang convertible and i have koni sport shocks right now. would i have to get new ones or will they be able to control the new ride height? thanks in advance.

the shocks you have now should be just fine.

i heard that its not good to do it with the stock shocks, so i didnt know if i had to buy a different length or not, thanks

nope i dropped my car with the stock shocks w/o any problems it will be fine with the shocks you have now.

dont go pass 1.5 or you will change the cars center of gravitiy drastically and need to change the endlinks and ball joints and a few other odds and ends

I used steeda (stage 1 kit) 1" lower and am using Tokico 5 way shocks, seems fine to me. It certainly looks much better now that it's lower to the ground! You should be fine.
