Havnt a hard time forking up $65 for the mgw brand shift knob/machined jam nut. Y'all got any alternatives? $65 is just completely ludacris for a shift knob in my opinion. My only issue is I want it to look flush with the shift boot.

Stock or MGW. That is pretty much it unless you can weld and or fabricate your own. $65 isn't a bad price for the quality George puts into them.

Yea the leather was peeling on my old one so I got that from another member here. But back to the closet it goes lol

You have the Hurst shifter but want a MGW knob, correct? If so you need to make sure you get the correct threading. I would also recommend checking eBay. All sorts of **** out there for these cars in the way of shift knobs.
It also costs a ****ing fortune. Saw one the other day for $160. Absolutely insane. I've been looking at them since I got Skwerl's shift boot and trim from his Bullitt partout. I would love to just have the locking trim part that goes below the shift knob, but the Bullitt boot has a smaller opening so they're impossible to find.
I guess some members here value honor and integrity and some just are here to benefit themselves. As stated before,
