MY B4 & AFTER TURBO THREAD

So for months ive been saying it, " im getting a turbo kit no matter what!?"
then a month ago..."i bought my turbo im waiting"
well now my proof and my what i'll make My TURBO THREAD!
today i got my pipes for my tma turbo Race kit with a t4 flange.
the price is listed on www.tmaturbo.com

in the thread i'll show
-pictures of each part i get (for some i'll show the cost)
----intercooler pipes, headers, fuel upgrades, other stuff, etc..
-picutres of the install and what it'll look like in the car when all is said and done.
-videos of the car before turbo kit install and then after
i'll also take any pictures i can of a certain part someone is interested in, and answer any TECH RELATED QUESTIONS

for now i'll start off with the parts i have(will have pictures of fuel injectors tomorrow.)

I'll be getting a 65mm throttle body soon hopefully
then once i get a chance to round up the money for the rest of the kit i'll be recieving that as well
my parts for the turbo not posted yet but what my kit will have
SC40 turbo, 38mm waste gate, Tial Blow off valve, intercooler, 4psi spring

other future parts in order:
t-lok(coming soon STRICKLY for 4psi only, waiting in mail...)
fuel pump
8.8 rear end w/31spline axles and non other then a DETRIOT trutrac
MT ET Drag radials
manual boost controller
VMP's dyno tunning for 10psi

ha congrats... when do the hair dryers get in?

and i would tell you to get that like chromed or something but thats so much more money ya know? or powder coated

**** ya dude thats sick!! the v6 badges are my fav part :D once i get around to a big mod imma get the 3.8 ones :D i cant wait to see that **** under your hood@!

its not to hard... its all bolt on right now...

just swap everything out... get some jacks and ****... then slap the turbo on... run an oil feed to it... and then everything is good... drive it up to the tuner... and wa-lla

the absolute biggest help of all is PERSONAL experience.
you can be taught how to have sex with a girl good. but when you get in bed and realize its not like you thought...over time and experience you get better.

also tech articles are a good help

and yea the turbo kit isnt to hard to install
mostly time consuming

only thing that isnt bolt on is 1/2 tap in the oil pan..
and i believe the mounts that i'll have to make for the intercooler.


simple instructions
remove all objects inway...plug wires, old intake, EGR

- remove headers and exhaust
- put on turbo headers
- connect pipe which the turbine and turbo will lay upon
- mount turbo and turbine
- fit and run all the intercooler pipes
- attach intercooler
- relocate Mass air sensor on new intake housing
- 1/2 tap in oil pan
- run oil lines to the turbo
- put on BOV and waste gate
- put everything back double check then start your engine

SC40 turbo
similar to a pt57 turbo
its rated up to 550rwhp just like the waste gate

these are not permant parts...they'll be on for about a year or more.
then replaced with a pt67 and 42mm waste gate once i get around to buying the 4.2L

lol im not exactly rolling in money
im working my ****in ass off for it

also forgot to say i'll be at 4psi til i can buy an 8.8 rear with the axles and posi i want as well as money for the ba3000 MAF housing that im gonna buy from vmp when i go up there to have that messed with as well.

i'll still be quicker then you.. even without the frpp gears and truetrac installed :p

haha im jus messin, turbos sound amazing!
