Driving cross-country after buying the car from a fella in Florida. This was somewhere along the Needles Highway in South Dakota:

Yeah, another reason I'm getting out of the Lotus - Toyota trannys weren't made to tolerate abuse, and changing a transaxle in your garage is not my idea of a good time!!

Thanks! I actually bought them before I even bought the car, lol. I love the black look too - if I was keeping the car, I was going to powedercoat the rear diffuser. Still tossed on what color to go with on the Mustang, but I'll definitely be incorporating black wheels somehow

Thanks! It's not looking that great these days - the front clam is being held together with red duct tape, haha. Need to reglass and repaint everything before I even try to sell it. Prospective Lotus buyers are always looking for a way to lowball you on price!

Alright, things just got real for me today! Placed an order and put down my deposit. Here's hoping everything goes smoothly and I have my car in hand before too long

 

BTW, I ordered what I originally planned, after much internal debate and external discussion - '13 GT w/ Brembos and Recaros in Sterling Gray. Can't wait!
