hydrocarbons this vehicle 6.06 state standards 1.60 FAIL

carbon monoxide this vehicle 23.05 state standars 15.00 FAIL

nitrogen this vehicle 1.86 state standards 2.50 PASS

so second try after i put the timing to 8degrees unplugged the FMU and capped it put a bottle of 99% rubbing alcohol and heating up the cats in line for 10minutes this is the other standards i failed :sorry

Hydrocarbons this vehicle 5.55 state standards 1.60 FAIL

Carbon Monoxide this vehicle 22.03 State standards 15.00 FAIL

Nitrogen this vehicle 1.96 state standards 2.50 PASS

so what can i do to pass emissions??? thanks for any help guys :)

Have any friends close to you in Pinal County? If you do, use their address.. no emissions in Pinal County. Other than that, you try those "tune shops" usually within a throws distance from the testing facilities?

yea i thought about that but im sure most of them will look at my car and be like take off the blower and then it should pass lol

You can pass with high flow cats, maybe yours are shot. High HC is unburned fuel. This could be too much fuel or fuel pressure, ignition problem, timing too high (which you already adjusted), low compression, contaminated oil, vac leak. Check your compression and do a tune up and change your oil. High CO is the fuel mixture, usually a little on the lean side, check for vac leaks, manifold leaks etc, possible injector spray pattern, etc..

Do you still have the EGR, smog pump, and PCV attached?
Most supercharged cars remove the PCV, put a breather on the valve cover and remove and cap the line from the TB to the valve cover vent. That is useful when boost is present but it also presents a vac leak that throws off your emissions. Those must be put back on and working for a good emissions test.

Your Paxton and FMU are not doing anything to hurt emissions unless your state tests full throttle under load which I doubt.

About your cats.. Have you ever smelled a sulfer or rotten egg smell when getting on it after putting around for a while? Have you ever noticed them glowing red? Have you read the computer for any codes?

I don't know about AZ but in VA, they put the car on a dyno and run it at 15 and 25 mph for a few minutes and measure at each speed. My supercharged Mustang with a custom cam and a bunch of other supporting aftermarket stuff passes with better numbers then my bone stock one does so they can pass if running right and all emissions stuff in good order.

here they go through every gear get it up to 65mph and back down twice for like 5minutes and the have the sniffer on the exhaust and pressurize the gas tank. I still have the smog pump connected the EGR is still there i have a breather where the REAR PCV is right now. I just did the oil change less then a week ago, i did the plugs last week and did the cap and rotor yesterday i have the timing at 8 degrees right now, intake gasket is fine we checked that sunday it looks new an not broken

What county are you in? In Pima (Tucson) and Maricopa (Phoenix) they only plug into the OBD-ii port. If you are not reading any error codes, you pass.

im in maricopa amd yea im pretty sure the car runs almost perfect besides needing a tune lol im gonna get my buddies stock exhaust setup sometime this week also im not running any codes so would it be okay to pull a injector or 2 with the stock cats or is it not worth it?

You live in Maricopa in Pinal county? If so, why the hell are you going through emissions. It's not required in Pinal county. If you go to DMV in Chandler, a lot of times they don't have you coded for Pinal county and want your emissions paper work.

You have two options, go to Casa Grande, and do your registration or go to the Title Registration places on the corner of Casa Grande Highway and 347 John Wayne parkway. There is a uhaul place over there. They will do the registration for you and if you live in Maricopa, will code you correctly and not require the emissions. They charge a premium, but it's not much.
