Well time to replace the shocks and struts. need some opinions. not looking for nothing crazy just better then stock.

For the exact same price I can pick up either some tokico blues or koni srt.t's

Which would you choose, and why? any other suggestions in the same price range.

Thanks in advance

The Koni's or Tokico HP blues.

Lowered quite a bit. About 2in up front 1.5 out back no iso. Probably the reason my shocks/struts r shot.

Honestly was dead set on koni's then read about the blues nd could save 20bucks LOL. So figured I'd ask before I ordered this weekend.

If you are lowered that much you might want to look into fox body struts/shocks.

The SN95 shocks have bumpstops on them. Fox shocks do not. You would need to add them to the Fox shocks to have a bumpstop on your rear shocks. Talked to Maximum Motorsports about this and that is what they told me.

Ok so an 01 gt I should plan on fox struts and sn95 rear shocks. And this is because they are shorter than the 01 standard equipment. Now this applies only to lowered vehicles, or would factory ride height springs show any beneift to the afore mentioned fox struts/sn95 shocks?

Don't mean to be a pain. Just making sure as I'm about to be replacing worn out factory original equipment.

i heard the best shocks for lowered new edges is the fox body shocks,

and they cost like 40 bucks each with life time warranty from autozone
Anyone else agree? That'd be a hell of a deal if there worth it... I know they say fox body springs r really good on a new edge for weight transfer Bt nvr heard about shocks/struts.

i've got kyb shocks/struts on my 00 vert and just lowered it. 1.25 front and 1 back. is fox shocks/struts really needed or for anything over 2?

Honestly I think you're fine. Its just an option if you have to buy again. Tons of people lower there mustang nd run 99-04 struts without problems.

yea mine seem fine, i ran kyb gas adjusts (same on my 00 GT) on my 92 foxbody. there fairly cheap and work great IMO. getting my caster/cambers installed this weekend though, can't stand the crap alignment.
