Since i have a a Diablo 93 OCT tune on my 01 gt. there is a couple other paramaters that i modified ( shift points, shift firmness, gear ratio etc.) does anybody know how much spark advance a 93 tune gives on these cars, or better yet how much should i retard the timing for a 100 shot of nitrous. I also have an OR H-pipe installed and the SES light is on will that mess with the AFR too much when using nitrous, so would i be better off buying MIL Elims first and then tuning my car for the shot.

I did look at the nitrous sticky but it didnt answer my spark questions.

The OR H is not an issue, all it does is set a code, does not change how the car runs.

Pull four or five degrees to begin with for 100 shot. With good gas (100 octane plus) advance the timing a degree at a time. Most people are ok with STOCK ignition timing for a 100 shot (not a 93 octane N/A tune). Hope the clears it up. Be sure to install copper plugs!!!!

Once again i looked in there but my question is should i just retard the timing off of the 93 OCT tune with my diablo and run -1 plugs

And yes i do have the ZEX system

All your 93 tune does is up the timing. so start out running stock timing and go from there. If you go on the zex website they tell you how your timing should be

^^^ That is a good write up. I was doing all that stuff back in 2004, I even had a latching relay setup off my dynojet WBC relay output for A/F switch. Lord all the safety stuff is expensive and a ton of wiring. BUT I ran several hundred pounds of nitrous. I was buying the mid 60# big bottles with siphon tube and filling my own 10# bottle!!!

That doesnt make any sense, i would call and just ask them about it ive always heard - 4 to 5 degress for 100 shot and i pulled 7 degrees and 2 step colder plugs for my 150 shot.
