hey all my cel light came on the other day and i checked the code and its saying bank 1 sensor 2 oxygen sensor heater malfunction i cleared the code and it came right back on after 5 min of driving....so do you think its time for a new sensor? if thats all it is im not going to worry as im going to be putting a o/r x pipe on soon so thanks

how did you clear the code??

did you unplug your battery or do you have a tuner??

If you do have a tuner, turn of the down stream O2 sensors, you don't need them

If i were to get a MIL eliminator for my O2 sensor that was ripped out when someone put H pipes in my car, would that tell the computer to stop dumping too much fuel into the engine? or do i need a tuner to do that?

Tuner is better than plug-in O2 harness.

You can get plug-ins or a tuner. You are completely better off getting a tuner so you can play arround with the car, where as the plug ins just delete the rear O2 sensors. I am famaliar with this issue
