Got some 24 pd injectors and a 76mm c&l mass air meter/housing for 175. If need be i'll rebuild the injectors, but they look good, although looks are many times deceiving. It's cold out but I think I am gonna go swap em on. Then I'm gonna smoke some ribs and call it a day.

when you rebuild them, if you do, what would a rebuild kit consist of? new o-rings and the little cups on the ends?

possibly. I'm not quite sure. I know my dad took has gotten a kit before and made some old crap ones good again. My fuel injectors that I just took out have just about every pintle cap broken with pieces missing and one cap missing completely not to mention they were covered in filth. I'm hoping this was my idle issue. Also found a hole drilled through the throttle blade probably because the guy before couldn't figure out the idle problem. The hole certainly didn't fix anything. Thanks for letting me know how to clean them before the install 302. I'll post pics later when I'm done.

hopefully u wont find new idle issues with that C&L....

That does suck, looks like i missed out. I haven't really ever messed with the bidding on ebay. Just the buy it now option.

Ohsplat that would be cool. I don't know when u have time but if you do have some one day let me know. I have plenty of parts to put on still and now have some garage space to do it in so I wont freeze.

Unfortunately my throttle body is stock.

Do you guys think that maf will cause more problems for me? .....don't know how to multi-quote.

lol seriously? or is this internet sarcasm. all the crap I read leads me to believe that its a minimal gain and not even needed in the power range I'm in. I think I've been hit in the head enough this week. rouge shelf left a nice knot on my forehead

lol

I honestly have no clue what your complete list of mods are, but if your mostly stock I would agree its a minimal mod. especially with a stock intake.

but normally when you get a intake manifold you get a good throttle body to support it. just get the biggest size the intake manifold will support.

Hah, in all honesty you may not even benefit from putting the 24's in the car, let alone a new TB. It depends on what's done to it so far... and I was assuming you meant the TB was stuck on as in you couldn't get it off after you got the bolts out right? The EGR gets hot enough that it bakes the gaskets on pretty good and you just give the TB a whack with a rubber mallet and they fall right off.

Its has cobra upper and lower, tfs heads, b cam, crane gold race rollers, trickflow pushrods and lifters, and stock bottom end - high flow oil pump, and of course all the norm exhaust stuff. I wasn't really thinking I would gain anything from them either but with the other ones looking like this maybe I will. I didn't even try taking off the tb. Just noticed a hole drilled through the plate. I really had no idea where the mallet comment came from lol. I also don't have an egr on the car anymore.
Pics of interesting things I found.

hole in lower intake from the fuel rail screw!!! hopefully there is no air leak.

water and debris in-between intakes.

Unknown sensor unconnected! If you guys could tell me what sensor this is that would be great. Not sure if its needed.

stock throttle body with heads/cam is a waste.

you are losing a TON of power

heads are great, intake sucks, cam sucks, and a stock throttle body.

car probably is making 270rwhp

people are going to flip there ****, but get a professional products Typhoon.

cheap, make good power, and just need a little clean up of flash in the runners.

my car made damn good power for BS parts. Why spend twice as much on a intake for almost no difference in power, especially not a noticeable difference.
