What is the best programmer and what should I look out for... I have axle back flow masters 10 series, and plan on getting cai (not sure what brand yet, input welcome) and gears (most likely 3.73) in the very near future.... Eventually a s/c maybe whipple or roush (again input welcome)... So what type of programmer where i can get it and a good price (please note i have never used a programmer so i am pretty much an illiterate twit :dunno when it comes to these so please explain as much as possible!) Thanks!:feedback

SCT Xcalibrators are the most common for sure. Followed by Diablo. There are also a few others out there worth mentioning, including HPTuners and Sniper.

I have a SCT Xcal - 2. I like it a lot. If I had to do it all over again I would still get a XCal but it would be the Xcal 3 since its the newest.

i just got a brenspeed intake/sct3/tune package. 635$ kinda a pricey but they are reputed to be the best so i thought it was worthwhile. just plugged the sct3 in and said upload tune; it saved the stock and put in the new one about 3 minutes total :)

Why don't you contact Justin at VMP Tuning? VMP Tuning is in Central Florida. A dyno tune is going to be much better than any mail order tune. VMP Tuning does amazing work. I'm sure he'd be willing to work a deal where you can get a Xcal3 with a custom tune and than you could get a dyno tune done once you get to Florida. I'd also recommend getting a C&L Racer cai.

Most places around here in Florida have 87, 89, and 93 octane. A few gas stations sell 91 in addition to the previous mentioned.
