What is the best way to fix this? It just says error... replace it? or punch it?

Have you tried multiple cd's? Cd-r, cd-rw, plain old purchased yourself compact disk.

If so, the lens might just be dirty and you can get a cleaner from radioshack or places like that.

Or the actual disk mechanism is broken and you need a new radio. Try to hear if the disk is spinning. I know it will be extremely hard to hear but get real close and check.

Mine did that, I cant eject CDs or load any, it just says CD error. I want to get a new headunit, but its confusing with the harnesses and ****.

You can buy a harness to run an aftermarket head unit in these cars. I wanted to keep the interior kind of stock looking, but who am I kidding the stock radio looks like ****. I would get an aftermarket deck.

This happens to me. When a cd sticks, I have learned to take a credit card, insert the edge of it into the slot, under the cd...and lift the cd up...it comes out every time. After getting the cd out, if the error message stays, I just unhook the car battery for about 20 minutes...and when I hook it back up, the error message is gone.
