Removing body panels

Getting ready to start painting the wifes 99 Mustang. I have a few questions about removing some panels. First, the panels above the door, that go from roof to quarter panel. How do you remove these. I see 1 bolt inside door jamb, but that's about it. Also, the fake vents in front of rear wheels, are those bolted or stuck on? I have a hayne's manual, but it has been worthless showing some panel removal

I also have to replace front radiator support due to rust, that should be straight forward.

IIRC, to remove the exterior A-pillars and sail panels, you have to remove the corresponding interior pieces to access the nuts attaching them to the body. I want to say that there are a couple nuts holding the fake vents on as well.

The rear quarter panels are part of the body. You have to cut those off/weld new ones on.

Tang Stang-

Thanks for that. My rear quarter is damaged from prev owner and I've been looking for part outs with them. No wonder why I couldn't find any. Looks like I'll have to take to a body shop and get the dent fixed.

not sure about the panel between the roof and quarter, but the scoops I am 100% sure about: they are held on by plastic clips. You have to grab the scoop and yank. Don't be surprised if some stay ont he scoop and some on the car, but it doesn't matter. You can see how they fit after you have it off and just mount them back in the scoop before reinstalling and then press on. There is also a water resistant molded piece that is between the scoop and the car to help keep water out of the quarter panel (yes.there are big holes in the sides of our cars behind those fake scoops!)

i think the trim above the doors are just held on by clips. maybe a couple nuts. clips for sure because i had one loose on my passenger side above the mirror and you could see a clip showing..so i just gave er a smack and it popped back in lol hope that helps any
