I am buying an AUX interface so that i can use my ipod in my 06 with my shaker1000...i would like to wire it to my center console/bin so that i can keep my ipod in there...can anybody please tell me how to remove the stereo to gain access to the back of it and then how would i go about sending a wire to the center console without disturbing e-brake movements and other mechanical things...?

Does your radio have 2 holes on each side of the radio?
If so you can buy the u shape keys from ford, or you can try to make some with a coat hanger. Put them in the holes, squeeze them to together a little, and pull...

Not sure about 06, but 1999-04 the center molding is clipped together. So just lift and it should unclip.. BUT THIS IS ON 99-04, NOT SURE ON 06...

1) open up armrest
2) remove 2-4 screws located on top of bezel under armrest
3) pull ebrake all the way up
4) if automatic, remove square trim ring around shifter
5) pull up on center console bezel
6) pull off side panels next to radio
7) unplug accessories from bezel
8) remove 4 screws around radio
9) remove radio

that is pretty much it right there.

Im not sure if you have an opening in the compartment like I do, but there is a little rectangle cover that pops out that you can run the wires through if you want your ipod the stay in there, so no drilling, but im sure you knew that.
