Hello all, I aquired a 30,000 Mile 2002 Mustang GT, the guy whom I purchased it from did so much to it- Pro Charger/ 3 core intercooler, running 10 lbs. every bolt on that can be added. Car is making 429 HP, 427 tourque, with a safe AF of 12.00.
My question is I know that my bottom end is on borrowed time< has anyone kept the cast crank, and changed the rest? I feel that if i have my guy change the bottom end i can up the boost and probably increase my HP and tourque!
Thanks for any input.

the cast crank is pretty strong, depending on your goals and how high you plan on taking your rpms will determine if it's worth upgrading. I put the cobra crank in my build just for the added safety. We raised the limiter on my setup to 6500.

Im running cast crank and forged rods/pistons. :)

If your on a budget the stock crank will work depending on your goals as Pumm3l said. Theres no shame in it.

BTW where abouts in CT are ya at?
