In the case of cast/cast then machined rubberlike consumer products "urethane" and polyurethane are the same thing.

Technically urethanes are a group of chemical compounds.

As for the isolators one could argue that they are more of an NVH thing then necessary. However I would be concerned about spring perch wear over the long run (as in 10s of thousands of miles).

If you are an average 8k to 12k per year driver it's probably not an issue though...

The reason I want isolators is because I don't want the car as low as the H&R Super Sport springs sit the vehicle, yet I like the rates it has in the front and rear. So should I just get those MM isolators I linked to, or should I get some rubber ones? Will there be a difference? Where can I buy rubber isolators? Thanks!
