I had the Che swaybar delete kit for one year. You'll definitely notice the front end being lighter (about 38 lbs.) and the quicker transfer of weight to the rear upon acceleration. For a DD it was no problem. Yes there is more front end body roll, but after a couple of days I only noticed it on high speed turns. The delete kit also makes the front end more comfortable over bumps and gives the steering a lighter, better feeling, IMO. The only reason I put the front sway back on the car is because I now drive some seriously twisty mountain roads everyday. But for a street car I recommend getting a swaybar delete kit. The Che unit is the best. It's light, and allows you to fasten down the brake lines that cross underneath the radiator like the OEM radiator support. The other brands had you using zip ties to do this! I sold my unit, but the CHE website had them for $129 last I looked.

I wouldn't think of doing this because I really like throwing my car into turns and doing some parking lot drifting.....:shiftyeyes ......closed course.. But I might get a light weight k-member.

So to keep this related....what if you pu a lightweight k-member, swaybar delete and a lightweight radiator support???? How much weight would that save and would it be beast mode?

actually it says half the weight of stock. The stock support weighs 16. So i guess its 8lbs

Steeda Lightweight Radiator Support - '05-'10 Ford Mustang

The K member is 20lbs less

BMR Tubular K-members

The Poly A arms are 11lbs less.

BMR TUBULAR A-ARMS

Thats 39lbs of the front. Better TQ transfer. Better handling. Better steering response.

Remove the swaybay all together while at the dragstrip and thats another 15lbs. The front sway bar itself weighs 15lbs.

So 54lbs at the strip.

Dont act like you dont know what it is. Are you ready to order 4:10 gears and lowering springs or what.
:D

or you could just put some bogarts on for the same amout of savings...right?
If you want lightweight 15'' wheels for racing, just get JEGS brand ones.

Awesome!! That's almost 2% less weight in the front end.
