Looking to find the right tires for my 1999 Mustang GT convertible. I plan on buying my tires and lowering the car at the same time. probably go with the eibach springs and drop it 1.5'. I plan on sticking with a 17' rim. just looking for something that fills the wheel wells the best and has good performance for a mostly stock engine they don't have to be super wide. I guess what im asking is if people could possibly post pics of their rides with the tire sizes so I can see what looks best. or if this thread already exists please direct me to it. thanks.

Go with 17x9 and 17x10.5 wheels. You won't regret the staggered set up. And id go 275 up front and 315 out back. Better traction if you ever decide to add power, and it looks great!

But if it's entirely about the look for you, i'd recommend 18 inch wheels to fill the wheel gap better.

And if you're deciding on tires my vote is for continentals on a daily driver. Specifically dws, they are awesome,

I am personay running the stock rim on front on 245/17 tires and the rear on a 17x9 rim on 275/17 tire in the rear. I am running bfgoorich g force comp 2 a/s rated for 45k miles. So far no complaints but I have only had em a week.
