Ok, so as some of you know I had to get new tunes from Brenspeed. Anyway I got my tunes today and been trying since 5:30pm to install them, now its 1am. I did everything it said on sct's site. The issue I'm having is that the sct program updater page doesn't come up as a full page, it cuts off right before the browse section from where your suppose to select the tune file to upload. Therefore making it impossible to add my custom tunes. I tried un-installing, and re-installing, and it still comes up the same way. It's version 2.6 for the update. Anyone have any ideas? I tried everything, and I'm just at the point where I don't know what to do. I did exactly what it said. Thanks for any help.

I have the Xcal 3. I downloaded the software it says to download which is firmware version 2.6 which you can find on sct's website. Everytime I open it though, the page isn't full. It cuts off and you can't scroll over either. It's the page where the top choice says load custom tuned.

SCT SF3 Power Flash Ford Programmer Device Update Software
Version: 2.6
Description: The Device Update Software is used to update your devices Firmware, Tune Revision or to load Custom Tunes (LL3 / CEF files) onto your device.
Notes: Updates & Changes:

- Resolves issue with Windows 7 x64 Computers

- Added support for additional 2010 vehicles

More info for you guys so you have a better idea of what program I'm speaking of.

Did you restart your computer after the SCTprogram install? You may need to so your newly implemented settings to apply.

Nah.....shouldn't effect it if the computer can recognize the program, laptops are pretty useful for tuning anyhow. You're sure the program installed?

Hmmmmmmm...let me think about this one. Is the program compatible with the version you are running on the puter>?

I'm not sure why it isn't working correctly for you.

As a workaround: make sure the updater is closed, open it, press the tab key on your keyboard three times and then hit enter. It should be the equivilent to clicking the "transfer file to device" button.

Yes, I believe so. So everyone has a better understanding of the page I'm referring to its the device updater 2.6 main page. It starts with load custom tune file, next option is update firmware, then the last is transfer file to device, all of these are under basic options, and then of course it shows advanced options below.

I can click that button, its just the page cuts off before the browse button etc, so finding my saved tune files and adding them is impossible.

Why can't you use live load to load the new tune programs? What is the extension of the "Tunes" your using... I thought the updater program was for firmware updates? Where did you get the "Tunes" ? Are the newest X3 device driver's installed on your computer?

Also, are you sure that the pop-up window is not coming up in the background? Is there any Window's security programs that are asking to allow the program to open? What operating system are you using?

If you're using a different browser, try using Internet Explorer. especially the newest version. I use Mozilla Firefox and run into problems occasionally.
