oh lol mmm..i rather not do that either lol I dont want a huge tire. Just enough to hook well but not drag me down after I hook.

I appreitate* the help guys. I decided on the 355 with the 26in tire. Should be good for the .96AR, rolls, digs, and not screaming down the highway. I can sell them too and make some money back.

im running 3.73s since im auto and i need it for the huge hoosiers i have out back.

you have an auto correct? Let me tell you your making a big mistake throwing 3.55s in. It will make absolutely no difference with an auto car. I had 3.27 and went to a 3.55, it felt no different. Its different with an auto car, to make a difference youll want a 3.73 rear gear.

yeah I have the 410 now and just dont want them anymore. I was considering 373s too..I think they would work well....

3.55...and keep them in there..that way you dont need to buy diff gears when you plan on makeing 700hp...but what do i know i only have a lil 2v thats in pieces:)

lol ok ok...I just dont want to **** it up you know..and not work well..but I have the 3:55s and I know I dont want my 4:10s anymore...I can get new 373s for $140 but I rather put that somewhere else.

355s you say..how would that be for spool and such?I know more load blah blah but for top end will it pull hard or take time to build rpms to spool it?

it will be just fine...dude you have asked the same question on modular fords over and over again lol.....and everybody has told you 3.55 lol....even the guys with twins turbo cobras with autos but you keep asking the same question just put the damn gears in already lol

yes I know haha on theturboforums and stlmustangs.com too. I keep getting mixed reviews from 327 to 410s though. So I just want to make sure what will work best. I think your right though. the 355 will help tire spin but once moving it should it well. I just dont want it to be a dog thats all.

try the 3.55 and see how you like them. personally 3.73s are perfect for auto cars.

the only thing it I idk if the 355 to 373 difference is worth spending the extra 140 bucks...I have the 355s and I mean I know with the 8psi 373s would prob be better but I mean My mid summer next year a built block will be in there sooo i wont have to live with it for to long..idk this sucks

Borrow as many as you can first and see how it runs. then make a choice. The reason you are getting so many different answers is because there are way to many variables. Even if you only go to the track with one set, we can give you a better idea with timeslips.

true...just gotta find peeps that will let me lol

My best et came from 3.27's and 27" tire. When my transmission broke I was running with 28" tires. The pass just before breaking I got my best trap.

but your running like 15psi on twins arent you?

After you build it. Take it to the track and run on the street tires of 26" and then throw on some 28" tires and report back with trap speed.
